Seven Steps to Homework Success

Seven Steps to Homework Success: A Family Guide to Solving Homework Problems

This book demonstrates to parents how they can teach their children important homework skills.  The book covers positive practices that parents and teachers can use to provide homework success.  Based on combined years of research and experience with thousands of families, this book reflects a practical hands on seven step program to reduce homework problems.  The chapters in this workbook represent seven sequential steps necessary to achieve homework success in your family.  These include understanding the importance of homework as part of children's education, evaluating children's homework skills, developing a working reliance with your child, developing strategies to solve homework problems and maintaining good home/school communication.

The strategies and ideas in this book are based on empirical research and practical experience.  They will help children take responsibility for homework and learning the skills necessary to complete homework independently.
